BE COUNTED--Nurses on Boards November update for Idaho

Posted 3 months ago

Promoting the work of the Nurses on Boards Coalition to get 10,000 nurses represented on boards  is one of the major work initiatives of the ANA-Idaho and the Idaho Center for Nursing.  The goal is to improve the health of communities and the nation through the service of nurses on boards and other bodies.  All boards benefit from the unique perspective of nurses to achieve the goals of improved health and efficient and effective health care systems at local, state and national levels.  ANY BOARD MEMBERSHIP COUNTS!  THIS IS NOT LIMITED TO NURSING BOARDS OR NURSING ORGANIZATIONS—but they do count too--SCHOOL BOARDS, COMMUNITY BOARDS, CHURCH BOARDS and others ALL COUNT!

We are pleased to provide the latest progress report for Idaho of November 8, 2019!

Counting Board Service: 32

Current Board Service & Want to Serve: 16

Not currently on a board but want to serve: 51

With 32 boards counted and an original goal of 55, Idaho has reached 58% of its Nurses on Boards goal.
