SEXUAL ASSAULT NURSE EXAMINER COURSE--40-hour adult/adolescent SANE Training
This course provides RNs and APRNs with the knowledge to practice as a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE). The SANE uses the nursing process and applies established evidence-based standards of forensic nursing practice to ensure that all patients reporting sexual violence and victimization receive a competent medical-forensic evaluation.
When: July 22 -26, 2019, Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
Where: Saint Luke’s RMC, Meridian Idaho

Requirements: You must be able to attend the entire 40-hour training and have at least two years of experience as an RN to be eligible for training. Participants who attend the course in its entirety, complete daily sign in, and complete the course evaluation will meet the requirements for successful completion.
Participants will receive 40 CNE hours for their successful completion of the SANE adult/adolescent course.
