This day allows nurses to speak with their elected representatives, network with legislators, lobbyists and legislative staffers to discuss issues of interest.

During each Legislative Session, organizations are allowed to sponsor a time when their members can meet with legislators at the capitol building. Thursday, February 21, 2019, will be the combined American Nurses Association of Idaho [ANA-I] and Nurse Leaders of Idaho [NLI] Legislative Day. Nurses can take this opportunity to meet with Idaho State Legislators to discuss specific topics that they support or do not support, and present their positions on issues and pending legislation. Mike McGrane, MSN, RN, is ANA-I's and NLI's official lobbyist and will coordinate this morning's events.
Immediately following this event will be an afternoon legislative workshop [ 1PM to 5PM ] as a kick-off to the ANA-Idaho annual meeting. This workshop is being held at the Riverside Hotel, Boise.
Watch this site for additional information on specifics closer to the date. Please Register/RSVP using this site so that a headcount for attendance and food can be determined. ATTENDANCE IS FREE.
Student nurses and nurses who are not ANA-Idaho members are welcome to participate.
